[Reuters] NATO holds minute of silence for Eurovision “tragedy”

In the early hours of a NATO session, delegates unanimously accept Estonia’s proposal for a minute of silence  for the ‘misfortune’ that befell the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

The moment of silence was held for Greece’s Marina Satti, after she placed eleventh at the Eurovision Song Contest with her song, ‘Zari’.

The Secretary General of NATO stated  after the minute had elapsed that they, “hope you took this time to reflect upon the tragedy that happened in the past day.”
