[China Global Television Network] AU- The African Union is Fighting A Blessing

Just minutes ago, Chinese President Xi Jinping made a powerful appearance at a meeting of the African Union (AU). The AU, which benefits immensely from the People’s Republic of China’s sustained investment and development initiatives across the continent, repeatedly questioned the President’s motives. Eswatini, a tiny nation in the South of Africa, even went as far as rejecting a motion to suspend President Xi’s talking time.

Fortunately, the President was able to convince the AU of the value of Chinese investment. In a compelling address, he set the record straight on wrongful allegations regarding labor exploitation and neo-colonialism – unsubstantiated claims considering China’s commitment to mutual economic integration. “China is here as an economic advisor and as a friend,” Xi Jingping assured the Union members, and received roaring applause in response.

One can only hope that the AU will stop fighting the blessing that China brings for a brighter future of Africa.
