[Associated Press] UNODC - Russia blames United States for aggravating illegal weapons trade as a result of Ukraine arms supply

In today’s UNODC meeting, Russia claimed that U.S.'s arms deliveries to Ukraine have worsened the global illegal trade in weapons. Allegedly, the more armement end up in circulation in Ukraine, the more of them end up freely traded among criminals and bad actors. 

It did not seem like this allegation had a lot of support from other delegates. The delegation of Russia also did not provide any proof for their statements.
