[Associated Press] NATO - Disruptive Delegation Moves & BRICS+ Observations

Two major anonymous leaks just dropped from inside the NATO committee.

On the last day of discussions, the delegate of Poland suddenly tried to open a debate on whether or not Ukraine should join NATO just 30 minutes before delegates were finally ready to submit a working paper that everyone agreed on. The timing of this move could seriously “sabotage all the progress” that had been made. Delegates are calling it disruptive, and some even say it was a deliberate attempt to blow up the consensus.

Word from the BRICS+ committee is that Turkey has left NATO. While that’s not confirmed officially, it would not be surprising. Turkey has apparently “barely said a word” in any NATO sessions. Delegates are now questioning whether Turkey was ever really part of the conversation to begin with.

Things are getting tense. Stay tuned.
