As the bloodshed between the Catholics and Huguenots continue, the Huguenot faction continue to debate over the effectiveness of diplomacy and the true allegiances of the Queen Mother.
Odet de Coligny, the Cardinal de Chatillon, with Louis I the Prince de Condé, and Charlotte de Laval continue to emphasize the importance of diplomacy and relations with the Queen Mother. The Cardinal de Chatillon was eager to start forming a strong connection with French nobility, a sentiment echoed by Prince Louis I, who also brings light to the importance of open dialogue.
Unfortunately for the Prince and the Cardinal, this is not a sentiment shared with the rest of the faction. Henri, Prince de Navarre, Jean de Serres, Jean de Ferrieres, and Georgette de Montenay remain highly skeptical of communication with the Queen mother and her Catholic associations.
While the Huguenots continue to debate the potential unraveling of the conflict, there has been, and continues to be ongoing bloodshed between the two religions factions. Prince Henri and Jean de Ferries are highly anxious for what they deem to see as an imminent war. Although peaceful means are the preferred outcome, not all are in agreement on the feasibility of such a pursuit.
