[AFP] The need for more concrete solutions at WHO

Nigeria proposed a funding solution, on Friday Morning in the World Health Organization (WHO), to reduce the digital gap impacting the healthcare system, a proposition debated by Saudi Arabia.

The delegation of Nigeria exposed the lack of concrete solutions present in the WHO. It decided to consider funding as a solution, supported by both developing and developed countries, especially China, the United States (US) and the Russian Federation.

Saudi Arabia only partially agrees with Nigeria and prioritises the solution around economic zones, considering funding as a partial solution, only solving money issues. India, Kenya and Honduras support Saudi Arabia's opinion, considering health zone programs would be more beneficial than funding.
