[Reuters] Representatives struggle to agree on a discussion topic in debate on global supply chains at WTO
As the World Trade Organization (WTO) pursued its debate on global supply chains on Friday afternoon, representatives struggled to move the debate forward. As the WTO Director-General pointed out, the states were extremely divided on the subject to be discussed, as all the topics proposed by the representatives systematically failed to launch a new debate. After many attempts, the countries finally agreed to discuss the fostering of digitalization.
