Following the seizure of Batista drug vessel off the coast of Florida yesterday evening, FBI investigators have disclosed Andrés Rivero Agüero, current Head of Senate, complicit with the illegal movement of the narcotics.
In the investigation of crew members manning the ship, they admitted to being contacted by American financier and tourism investor Meyer Lansky, who although now has a tumultuous relationship with Agüero has been in their long-term cohort and favor.
In a statement perpetuating violence against Cuban revolutionaries, Lansky states “the mafia is everywhere, and this mafia is not going to give up, if anything is to happen, gunshots will fire.”
The ties between the mafia and the current Cuban government continue to project the leaders into uncharted territories, general consensus among American and the United States general government has started to falter in light of these recent developments.
The vessel as reported was carrying roughly 3000 kilos of a cocaine-sugar compound en route to Miami, Florida.
