Rita is a Kosovar student at the Maastricht Science Programme, who wishes to pursue a career in plant genetics. Despite her focus in science, the arts make up a crucial part of her heart. Rita is pretentious about music: she grew up around musicians and often cries at classical concerts. She is extremely passionate about creative writing, and her biggest goal in life is to be a published author of her own book. Rita also adores cinematography with a particular interest in short films and animations. Rita hopes that her contributions to the MD will not only help her progress in her pursuits, but also inspire others.
