Nuria is a third-year Global Studies student at Maastricht University and a writer for the Maastricht Diplomat’s Local Coverage Team. Raised in Maastricht, she combines a strong academic interest in international relations, political communication, and social issues with a curiosity for how global dynamics play out at the local level. Alongside her studies, Nuria is actively involved in student life, contributing to the University Orchestra Maastricht both as a flautist and as part of the PR committee. When she is not writing or studying, she enjoys reading, and spending time outdoors with her dog in Maastricht.
