[Reuters] Batista Reveals Major Plans for Cuba’s Economy

Friday, Fulgencio Batista announced alongside advisors that the Cuban government has been working tirelessly in arranging nationwide military celebrations and a three-day music festival by American singer, Frank Sinatra.

These events they claim are not only a projection in soft-power against the Communist Rebels, but ultimately bolster Cuba’s positioning as an economic superpower in Central America.

In an earlier statement dismissing any claims that the government is complicit in the death of civilians. Batista further emphasized the government's current feats in strengthening the military through new benefits including food stamps and free education (K-12) for all dependents of current and newly enlisted soldiers.

The nation-wide military celebration will include public transport connecting rural and urban areas,

In an enthusiastic statement by Meyer Lansky, the strengthening of Cuba’s tourism sector has been perpetuated through casinos, resorts, new jobs, and will prosper greatly from the recently announced, multi-day concert by Frank Sinatra.

In a final claim by Jose Suares Nunez, the Deputy Head of Publicity for the Cuban government, he disclosed that the Cuban economy is “flourishing.”
