[Guardian] Bill Gates and Côte d'Ivoire have a bone to pick?

ECOSOC invited Bill Gates to ask for funding. During his appearance in the comittee Bill Gates was willing to fund everything we ask for. However according to an unnamed diplomat, Bill gates refused "the proposals by Côte d'Ivoire, since Bill Gates and the delegation of Côte d'Ivoire have beef."

The Côte d'Ivoire diplomat expressed that although the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation have done much of society, the work the foundation have done on the eradication of polio came with grave consequences. It is the position of Côte d'Ivoire that the responsibility for these consequences have not been adequately assumed by Mr. Gates. Laying out that Polio 2, a more potent successor to polio 1, has been ravaging the world over including Ukraine and Côte d'Ivoire. The diplomat insists on an official apology by Mr. Gates and adequate funding by the foundation to deal with Polio 2.

When asked for comment Mr. Gates stated that "the statement by Côte d'Ivoire is factually incorrect, the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation has always done it's absolute best to combat diseases and therefore we do not look favorably the diplomats harsh word."
